Treviamet is used:

- Initially to improve glycemic control in type 2 diabetes when diet and exercise are insufficient.
- As an adjunct with diet and exercise for those not adequately controlled on Metformin HCl or Sitagliptin alone, or in combination with Sitagliptin and Metformin HCl.
